How it works

It lives in the Services menu, where your text already is.

There's no window to paste into. macOS hands GrammarFix the selection and puts the fix back in the same place, so the text never visits the clipboard.

  • Right-clickServices › GrammarFix: Fix Text, on any selection.
  • Your own shortcutPick any keys you like in System Settings › Keyboard › Keyboard Shortcuts › Services.
  • A second shortcutFix with Instructions asks what you want this time, then fixes.
Instructions

Editors keep a style sheet. So does GrammarFix.

Write your rules once and every fix follows them. Add rules for particular apps, including whether they get emojis, or give one fix its own request.

Your Mac already has Writing Tools. Why pay US$1.99?

Writing Tools is good, and GrammarFix can use the same Apple on-device model. The difference is how few steps a fix takes, and how much of your style it remembers.
